Answer:

When x ⇒ +∞ and x ⇒ -∞, f(x) ⇒ 0 from the positive region.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

Let´s write the function:

f(x) = (7x³ + 2) / (4x⁵ - 3x + 1)

When x ⇒ +∞ we can neglect the constant values (2 and 1). So:

f(x) ⇒ 7x³ /(4x⁵ - 3x)

f(x) ⇒ 7x³ / x(4x⁴ - 3)

f(x) ⇒ 7x² / 4x⁴

f(x) ⇒ 7/4x² ⇒ 0 from the positive region

when x ⇒ -∞

f(x) ⇒ 7/ 4x² ⇒ 0 from the positive region because x² is always positive.

Then when x is a very big number (positive or negative), f(x) will be approximately 0 and positive.

Evaluate (−3) ^−3
Fynjy0 [20]
<h3>Answer:</h3>

-1/27

<h3>Solution:</h3>
  • If we have a number to a negative power, we flip the number over, like so:
  • -3- > \displaystyle\frac{1}{(-3)^3}
  • Simplify:
  • \displaystyle\frac{1}{-27} =-\frac{1}{27}

Hope it helps.

Please help, i forgot which was which... (positive or negative coefficient)
Vesna [10]
<h3>Answer:  Negative</h3>

Reason:

The template y = ax^2+bx+c applies to any quadratic to graph out a parabola. The coefficient for the x^2 term is 'a', and it solely determines whether the parabola opens upward or downward.

If 'a' is negative, then the parabola opens downward. The way to remember this is that 'a' being negative forms a negative frown.

On the other hand if 'a' is positive, then it forms a positive smile, and the parabola opens upward.

In this case, the points are fairly close to a parabola opening downward. This means 'a' is negative and a < 0.
