D. The equation for Velocity is v=d/t. Given the distance and time spent, velocity can be determined.

A).  Distance traveled and time spent can't  be used to calculate anything about acceleration at any point in the trip.

B). and C).  A trip in a car doesn't have density or force.  That's silly.

D). Using just the distance traveled and the time taken, Tim can calculate his average SPEED for the trip, but not the velocity.  That would require knowing the straight-line distance and direction between his house and Casey's house.
