Hi,

A hexagon has 720 degrees average!

112 + 133 + 128 + 100 + 120 = 593

720 - 593 = 127

Answer, x = 127 degrees

HEY THERE

As we know the sum of all angles of a hexagon is 720°

So x = 720° - sum of the rest angles.

112°+120°+133°+128°+100° = 593
°
So x = 720°-593°
x = 127°

HOPE IT HELPES YOU.

what is the difference between multiplying fractions and adding/subtracting fractions? complete sentances please
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

See Explanation!

Step-by-step explanation:

When multiplying fractions, you do not need a common denominator, and the entire fraction gets multiplied across, however when adding or subtracting fractions, you must have a common denominator, and then only compute the numerator, as the bases are already the same

) Find the coordinates of the point A' which is the symmetric point
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Let, coordinate of point A' is (x,y).

Since, A' is the symmetric point  A(3, 2) with respect to the line 2x + y - 12 = 0.

So, slope of line containing A and A' will be perpendicular to the line 2x + y - 12 = 0 and also their center lies in the line too.

Now, their center is given by :

C( \dfrac{x+3}{2}, \dfrac{y+2}{2})

Also, product of slope will be -1 .( Since, they are parallel )

\dfrac{y-2}{x-3} \times -2  = -1\\\\2y - 4 = x - 3\\\\2y - x = 1

x = 2y - 1

So, C( \dfrac{2y -1 +3}{2}, \dfrac{y+2}{2})\\\\C( \dfrac{2y + 2}{2}, \dfrac{y+2}{2})

Also, C satisfy given line :

2\times ( \dfrac{2y + 2}{2})  + \dfrac{y+2}{2} = 12\\\\4y + 4 + y + 2 = 24\\\\5y = 18\\\\y = \dfrac{18}{5}

Also,

x = 2\times \dfrac{18}{5 } - 1\\\\x = \dfrac{31}{5}

Therefore, the symmetric points isA'(\dfrac{31}{5}, \dfrac{18}{5}) .

Write an equation of the graph:
katrin [286]
1. To translate to the left, add to x.
The equation is: y = |x + 2|

2. To translate down, add to y.
The equation is: y + 2 = |x| OR y = |x| - 2 (subtract 2 from each side)

Hope this helps!

There are two twins. One twin wants to explore the planet near Proxima Centauri and leaves on a spaceship traveling at 90% of th
miskamm [114]

Answer:

<em>4.7 years</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance of planet from Earth = 1.3 parsec

We know that 1 parsec = 3.26 light years

And a light year is the distance traveled by light in time period of 1 year.

So, Distance of planet from Earth = 1.3 \times 3.26 = 4.24 light years

Given that, the person travels at a speed equal to 90% of the light speed.

To travel to the planet from Earth, Light takes 4.24 years.

To travel the distance D, at a speed s light takes time of 4.24 years.

To travel the distance D, at a speed 0.90s, the person takes time:

\dfrac{4.24}{0.90} = \bold{4.7\ years}

So, the twin on Earth ages by <em>4.7 years.</em>
