C = 2pi*r
Plug in the circumference
6.28 = 2*pi*r
3.14 = pi *r
plug in pi
3.14 = 3.14 * r
r = 1

In this exercise it is asked to find the radius of a circle with a circumference of 6.28 meters. The formula to find the circumference or perimeter of a circle is C=2<span>πr, where r represents the radius of the circle.

In this case that is already given the circumference, you have to solve the previous formula for r, and of this form the circle's radius could be find.

C=2</span>πr        Divide in both sides by 2<span>π to isolate r</span><span>
C/2</span>π=r

Now you can find the value of the radius by using the formula r=C/2<span>π  and substituting the values of the circumference ans pi.

</span>r=C/2π
<span>r=6.28/2(3.14)
r=6.28/6.28
r= 1 meter

The circle's radius is 1 meter.</span>

Rectangle H and J are similar. If the area of rectangle H is 176, What is the area of rectangle J?
Tanzania [10]

ratio will be same

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{22}{176}=\dfrac{8.8}{J}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{1}{7}=\dfrac{8.8}{J}

The variables A, B, and C represent polynomials where A = x2, B = 3x + 2, and C = x – 3. What is AB – C2 in simplest form?
Vladimir [108]
AB = X^2(3X +2)

C^2 =  (x - 3)^2

AB - C^2   = 3x^3 + 2x^2 - (x^2 - 6x + 9)

 =   3x^3 + x^2 + 6x - 9

mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

40 students

Step-by-step explanation:

16 = 40%

Divide by two to get 20% = 8

Then multiply by 5 to get 40 = 100%

There’s other ways to do this, BUT this is the way that I solve it.
