We use and touch to feel things around or near us. We touch things all the time, not just with are hands. We smell things all the time also it never stops, we can smell food, flowers anything that has a sent.
It helps sustain tbe population because of the food chain. everything needs to eat, so the more diverse a population is, the more options things have to eat. The population is sustained because everything is able to eat to survive
