Original price marked on the item = €450

rate of discount = 12%

A.
Discount amount = €450 × 12/100 = €54

So amount of reduction is €54

B.
Sale.price = original price - discount

= €450 - €54

= €396

Sale price is €396.

Two sets of three consecutive integers have a property that the product of the larger two is
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

{1, 2, 3},  {3, 4, 5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Write expressions for three consecutive integers:  n, n + 1, n + 2.

Set up an equation for the verbal description: the product (mulitplication) of the two larger integers (the last two) is one less than 7 times the smallest (the first one).

(n + 1)(n + 2) = 7n - 1

Multiply (FOIL) the left side.

n^2 + 3n + 2 = 7n - 1

Subtract 7n and subtract 1 to make the right side 0.

n^2 - 4n + 3 = 0

Factor.

(n - 1)(n - 3) = 0

Set the two factors equal to 0

n - 1 = 0,  n - 3 = 0

Solve for n.

n = 1,  n = 3

One set of integers begins with 1, so it's {1, 2, 3}.

The other set begins with 3, so it's {3, 4, 5}

PLEASE HELP!!
artcher [175]

To solve for f, you need to isolate/get the variable by itself in the equation:

4(0.5f - 0.25) = 6 + f       Distribute 4 into (0.5f - 0.25)

(4)0.5f + (4)(-0.25) = 6 + f

2f - 1 = 6 + f        Subtract f on both sides to get "f" on one side of the equation

2f - f - 1 = 6 + f - f

f - 1 = 6       Add 1 on both sides to get "f" by itself

f - 1 + 1 = 6 + 1

f = 7

PROOF

4(0.5f - 0.25) = 6 + f      Substitute/plug in 7 into "f" since f = 7

4(0.5(7) - 0.25) = 6 + 7

4(3.5 - 0.25) = 13

4(3.25) = 13

13 = 13

CUALES SON LOS GRADOS PARA HACER UNA GRAFICA DE PASTEL, CON LOS SIGUIENTES PORCENTAJES( 20%,50%,10%)
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

360° = 100%

Entonces, ¿a que grado corresponde el 50%? Planteamos la ecuación:

x = 50%

Si tomamos el cociente entre las ecuaciones:

x = 50% y  360° = 100%

obtenemos:

x/360° = 50%/100%

resolviendo para x, obtenemos:

x = (50%/100%)*360° = 0.5*360° = 180°

Para los otros porcentajes hacemos lo mismo.

Para el de 20% tenemos:

y = 20%

planteamos la ecuación:

y/360° = 20%/100%

y = 0.2*360° = 72°

Finalmente, para el de 10% tendremos:

z = 10%

planteando la ecuación como antes:

z/360° = 10%/100%

z = 0.1*360 = 36°

Asi, hemos encontrado los grados correspondientes para cada porcentaje.
