<h2>Greetings</h2>

Fr+ and P3-

This is because the Fr atom has a negative charge and P3 atom has a negative charge, these two atoms have an electrostatic force of attraction because they both need full outer shell of electrons to be a stable atom.

<h2>Hope this helps!</h2>

Answer:

Fr⁺ and P₃⁻  have an electrostatic force of attraction between them.

Explanation:

Atoms that are present in all bodies, are composed of electrons, protons and neutrons. All three have mass, but only the electron and the proton have charge. The electron has a negative charge, and the proton has a positive charge.

The electromagnetic force in this case is the interaction that occurs between atoms that have an electric charge. When the charges are at rest, the interaction between them is called electrostatic force. Depending on the sign of the charges that interact, electrostatic force can be attractive or repulsive.

The electrostatic interaction between charges of the same sign is repulsive (two negative charges or two positive charges), while the interaction between charges of the opposite sign (a negative charge and a positive charge) is attractive. In the case of neutral charges against negative or positive charges, no force is generated.

Taking into account everything mentioned above, it is possible to say that  <u><em>Fr⁺ and P₃⁻  have an electrostatic force of attraction between them.</em></u>

How many grams of aluminum chloride can be produced from 7.32g of ammonium perchlorate?
Alla [95]

Answer:

2.77g of AlCl_{3} can be produced.

Explanation:

Use stoichiometry.

Balanced equation: 3Al + 3NH_{4} ClO_{4} ⇒ Al_{2} O_{3} + AlCl_{3} +3NO + 6H_{2} O

NH_{4} ClO_{4}  :  AlCl_{3}

      3        :     1                        **n=\frac{m}{M}

 0.0623**   :    x                        n=\frac{7.32}{117.49}   = 0.0623

      3x=0.0623\\x=0.020767

n=\frac{m}{M}

m=nM

m= (0.020767)(133.34)

m= 2.77g

Use complete sentences to differentiate between acids and bases on the basis of touch. Give an example of each type. PLEASE HELP
aleksklad [387]

Explanation:

Bases have a slippery feel when touched but acids do not have a slippery feel.

  • An acid is a substance that interacts with water to produce excess hydroxonium ions, H₃O⁺ in an aqueous solution. Here are some of its properties:
  1. Their dilute solutions have a sour taste.
  2. They have a burning effect on the skin and are highly corrosive on metals.
  3. They have the ability to change the colors of indicators.
  4. They react with bases to form salt and water only.

Examples of acids are:

                Hydrochloric acid                  HCl

                Tetraoxosulphate (VI ) acid H₂SO₄

  • A base is a substance that interacts with water to produce excess hydroxide ions, OH⁻ in an aqueous solution.
  1. They typically have a bitter taste.
  2. They have a soapy feel
  3. They are electrolytes
  4. They also change the color of indicators

Examples are:

                Potassium hydroxide      KOH

                Sodium hydroxide           NaOH

How reactive is an atom of Sodium(Na) and why?
s344n2d4d5 [400]
3rd one:
it is very reactive because it does not have a full Valence shell.

this is because it's in group 1 so it has one electron in its outer shell, and it wants to have a full outer shell ( which it can gain by losing the electron in a reaction).

Hope this helps :)
