Line r and t are parallel with unknown line intersecting them as a transversal. 138 degree is congruent to angle 2 because line r and t are parallel to each other. angle 2 and 5 are vertically opposite again so angle 5 is also 138 degrees. Now angle 5 and 6 are linear angles i. e summation of 5 and 6 is 180 degrees.

138 + angle 6 = 180
angle 6 = 42 degrees.

option D is correct. Hope this helps you.

It is D. Angle 1 and 138 degrees are both equal, so angle one equals 138 degrees. This is because they are alternate interior angles, or exterior, not quite sure. Anyway, this means angle 1 and 2 are equal because of either alternate interior or exterior. Angle 4 and 2 are supplementary angles, meaning 138 + angle 4 = 180. This means angle 4 is 42 degrees. Because they are vertical angles, angles 4 and 6 are the same. So angle 6 is 42 degrees

Solve AABC. Round your answers to the nearest hundredth, if necessary
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

C=25^{\circ},\\a\approx 10.72,\\b\approx 11.83

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. Thus, angle C must be 180-90-65=25^{\circ}.

In any triangle, the Law of Sines is given by \frac{\sin A}{a}=\frac{\sin B}{b}=\frac{\sin C}{c}.

Therefore, we have:

\frac{\sin 90^{\circ}}{b}=\frac{\sin 25^{\circ}}{5},\\\\b=\frac{5\sin90^{\circ}}{\sin 25^{\circ}}=11.8310079158\approx \boxed{11.83}

\frac{a}{\sin 65^{\circ}}=\frac{5}{\sin25^{\circ}},\\a=\frac{5\sin 65^{\circ}}{\sin25^{\circ}}=10.7225346025\approx \boxed{10.72}

Can someone help or show me how to simplify this equation 22.5+7(n-3.4)
Scorpion4ik [409]
<span>22.5+7 (n-3.4)=19.8n

We simplify the equation to the form, which is simple to understand
<span>22.5+7(n-3.4)=19.8n

Reorder the terms in parentheses
<span>22.5+(+7n-23.8)=19.8n

Remove unnecessary parentheses
<span>+22.5+7n-23.8=+19.8n

We move all terms containing n to the left and all other terms to the right.
<span>+7n-19.8n=-22.5+23.8

We simplify left and right side of the equation.
<span><span>-12.8n=+1.3

</span>We divide both sides of the equation by -12.8 to get n.
<span>n=-0.1015625</span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
