My computer is powered by electrical energy from the wall outlet. Even if I happen to be running my computer on battery right now, the battery is just giving me energy that came from the wall outlet and got temporarily stored in the battery.

A car is traveling at 114 m/s and changes its velocity to 77 m/s in 9 sec.
suter [353]

Answer:

<u>Given</u><u> </u><u>-</u>

  • Initial Velocity, u = 114 m/s
  • Final velocity, v = 77 m/s.
  • Time taken, t = 9 sec.

<u>To</u><u> </u><u>find</u><u> </u><u>-</u><u> </u>

  • Acceleration of the car.

<u>Solu</u><u>tion</u><u> </u><u>-</u>

Here, using the equation of motion v = u + at we can find the acceleration easily.

★ Here,

  1. V = Final velocity
  2. U = Initial Velocity
  3. A = Acceleration
  4. T = Time.

<u>Subs</u><u>tituting</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>values</u><u> </u><u>-</u>

→ 77 = 114 + a(9)

→ 9a = 114 - 77

→ 9a = 37

→ a = 37/9

→ a = 4.1 m/s

<u>There</u><u>fore</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>accele</u><u>ration</u><u> </u><u>of</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>car</u><u> </u><u>will</u><u> </u><u>be</u><u> </u><u>4</u><u>.</u><u>1</u><u> </u><u>m</u><u>/</u><u>s</u><u>.</u>

What is the function of the commutator in a DC motor? to spin the magnet to change direct current into alternating current to ch
Anestetic [448]
Commutator is an attachment, connected to the armature of motor or generator through which electrical connection is made and ensures that the current is flowing like a direct current
And it is a device for reversing the direction of flow of electrical current.
In addition by using induction the current is induced in a circuit due to a change or motion in a magnetic field is so directed as to oppose the change in flux "is the surface magnetic divided by time" and to exert a mechanical force opposing the motion of the spin of wire coil.

How is a front defined in terms of weather ?. A) the leading edge of an anticyclone flow. B) the trailing edge of a warm front.
Svetllana [295]
A front is defined as a "boundary" that separates two masses of different air densities. I am not entirely sure, but I think the answers are either C or D, but I'm mostly convinced it's option D.

Let's begin with the angular acceleration of a compact disk (CD). To play music the CD must rotate at high speed while a laser r
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

\omega = 754 rad/s

t = 6.6 \times 10^{-4} s

\alpha = 188.5 rad/s^2

Explanation:

Frequency of the disc is given by the

f = 7200 rev/min

here we know that

f = \frac{7200}{60} rev/s

f = 120 rev/s

now we have

\omega = 2\pi f

\omega = 2\pi(120) = 754 rad/s

Now we know that its angular speed is 754 rad/s

now to find the time to turn by 90 degree is given as

t = \frac{\theta}{\omega}

t = \frac{\pi/2}{740} = 6.6 \times 10^{-4} s

Now the angular acceleration is given as

\alpha = \frac{\omega_f - \omega_i}{t}

\alpha = \frac{240\pi - 0}{4}

\alpha = 188.5 rad/s^2
