0.27 ÷ 0.03 = 9.

think of it this way it's like doing 27 ÷ 3 so you get your answer which is 9.

but then you see.
9×3 =27.
9× 0.3 =2.7

so that must mean
9×0.03 = 0.27.

you basically move the decimal point in this one and it's moved 2 or 3 times in this one

To do this, you must first multiply each one by a 100. Doing this, you get 27 and 3. Find the quotient and that is 9. Add me as a friend I am great with math.

A large can of tomato soup was $4.40 for 22 ounces while the smaller can was $1.80 for 10 ounces. which can of soup has the best
topjm [15]
To find the answer to this problem, all you have to do is divide the price of the product by the number of ounces. So to find the price per ounce of the large can of tomato soup, you divide 4.40 by 22, which equals .20 cents per ounce. For the smaller can, you divide 1.80 by 10, which equals .18 cents per ounce. So the smaller can has the best price per ounce.

If f={(-1,-3), (1,1),(2,3),(4,6)} and g={(-1,-1),(1,7),(4,3)} what is (f+g)(4)?
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

(f + g)(4) = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

We have that:

f = {(-1,-3), (1,1),(2,3),(4,6)}

this means that:

f(-1) = -3

f(1) = 1

f(2) = 3

f(4) = 6

and we also know that:

g = {(-1,-1),(1,7),(4,3)}

hich means that:

g(-1) = -1

g(1) = 7

g(4) = 3

Now we want to find:

(f + g)(4)

For the general case of two functions f(x) and g(x)

(f + g)(x) = f(x) + g(x)

Then:

(f + g)(4) = f(4) + g(4)

and we know both of these values, so we can just replace them:

(f + g)(4) = f(4) + g(4) = 6 + 3 = 9

Then we get:

(f + g)(4) = 9

True or false 6,859^1/3 can be written as square root 3 19^3
Dennis_Churaev [7]
6859^{ \frac{1}{3}}

Using the index law a^{ \frac{m}{n}} =  (\sqrt[n]{a} )^m

\sqrt[3]{6859}=19, so we can also write this as
( \sqrt[3]{19^3} )

Answer: TRUE
