Let The ratio of yellow to blue paint by teacher = x : y

i.e x : y = 9 : 6

or, x : y = 3 : 2

So,  The ratio of yellow to blue paint by teacher = 3 : 2

i.e a : b = 4 : 3

or, a : b = 4 : 3
