Hey user!

your answer is here..

ATQ,

Erika bought 20 pieces of candy. three-fourths of them were jelly beans and the rest was gum.

no. of pieces of jelly beans = 3/4 × 20

= 3 × 5

= 15

hence, 15 pieces of jelly beans Erika purchased.

therefore gum she bought = 20 - 15 = 5

she bought 5 pieces gums.

cheers!!

Make a table of values and create a line of best fit
Anni [7]
<h2>Explanation:</h2><h2></h2>

Hello! remember you have to write complete questions in order to get good and exact answers. Here I'll explain this in a general way assuming the following table:

\begin{array}{cc}x & y\\0 & 0\\1 & 2\\2 & 4\\3 & 6\\4 & 8\\5 & 10\end{array}

As you can see, x increases in steps of 1 units. So let's check the difference in y:

\bullet \ \text{From x=0 to x=1} \\ \\ \Delta y=2-0=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=1 to x=2} \\ \\ \Delta y=4-2=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=2 to x=3} \\ \\ \Delta y=6-4=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=3 to x=4} \\ \\ \Delta y=8-6=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=4 to x=5} \\ \\ \Delta y=10-8=2

So we have a constant difference and we can conclude the table represents a line. Since the line passes through then y is directly proportional to x, so we can write:

y=kx \\ \\ Where: \\ \\ k \ is \ constant \ of \ proportionality \ or \ the \ slope

Then:

k=\frac{2-0}{1-0}=2

Finally, the equation of the line is:

\boxed{y=2x}

Find the volume. SHOW WORK
Anettt [7]

Answer:

827.39

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume = L X W X H

So 6.2 X 8.5 X 15.7

6.2 X 8.5 = 52.7

52.7 X 15.7 = 827.39

So the volume is <u>827.39</u>

Olivia's team played 8 games of basketball. During those 8 games her team's score was: 70, 67, 79, 66, 64, 80, 64 and 75. Find t
castortr0y [4]

Answer:

70.6

Step-by-step explanation:

The mean is the average of a set of numbers.

To find it, add up all the terms and divide it by the number of terms.

70 + 67 + 79 + 66 + 64 + 80 + 64 + 75 = 565

565 / 8 = 70.625

Rounding this to the nearest tenth, we get an answer of 70.6
