So you have a quarter circle

this area is equal so 1/4 of total area
find total area and diviby by 4

area=pi r^2
diameter=2r
diameter/2=r
diameter=5
5/2=r=2 and 1/2=2.5

equation is now
3.14 times 2.5^2
3.14 times 6.25
19.625

that is total area

now divide by 4
19.625/4=4.9 ft
round to nearest foot
5

answer is 5 ft^2

If f(x, y)=xy−x^2, what is the value of f(f(−2, 3), −4)? Explain your reasoning.
hjlf

\bf f(x,y)=xy-x^2 \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ f(\stackrel{x}{-2},\stackrel{y}{3})=(-2)(3)-(-2)^2\implies f(-2,3)=-6-(4)\implies f(-2,3)=-10 \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ f(~~\underline{f(-2,3)},~~-4)\implies f(\stackrel{x}{\underline{-10}},\stackrel{y}{-4})=(-10)(-4)-(-10)^2 \\\\\\ f(-10,-4)=40-(100)\implies f(-10,-4)=-60
