Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is....and I am a proud student of this prestigious institution.

The reason why I am sending this letter is to express my concern with regard to the imminent professional future of other students and my own as well. It is mistakenly assumed that success in proffesions is simply a result of intellectual ability but I believe that there are further factors that may influence student and therefore professional success.

Hard skills are teachable and measurable abilities and they are part of all institutional programs. However, there are other skills known as "soft skills" which are related to interpersonal abilities and they are hard to define and evaluate. These abilities include communication skills, cooperative work and empathy, among others.

I strongly believe it would be interesting as well as useful if you could offer a "soft skills course" to tackle the real needs of the working market which seeks for very adaptable employees. No matter the career each student chooses, it will probably be the best tool we can get to face our professional future with more self-confidence.

I humbly expect that you take into consideration my request.

Yours sincerely,

........

What effect an abnormally high temperature will have on pea seedling germination?
Fed [463]

They will spout extremely slowly if it is too cold, and they will grow more slowly if it is too hot. They will just fail if it is far too cold or hot. These temperature ranges have been mapped out by academic studies conducted in the USA for a variety of plants.

How does temperature affect the germination rate?

The germination rate grows with temperature increases up to the optimum temperature and falls at higher temperatures. The rate of plant growth increases as temperature rises from the lowest to the highest temperatures and decreases between the highest and lowest temperatures.

How do plants respond to high temperature?

Heat shock factors and other molecular players are activated in plants as a response to heat stress. Hormones play a key role as chemical messengers in this. Brassinosteroids are a class of hormones that plants produce that largely control their growth and development.

In Red Lion Broadcasting Company v. FCC (1969), the Supreme Court upheld the ________.
alex41 [277]

The Fairness Doctrine.

In Red Lion Broadcasting v. the FCC, the Supreme Court upheld the Fairness Doctrine, that is, the doctrine that requires news organs to present a fair and balanced view of the news.

Since broadcasters get licenses to broadcast from the FCC, they have to abide by FCC regulations.

Fairness Doctrines, in the eyes of SCOTUS, do not violate the 1st Amendment due to the important role that broadcasters play and scarce options available.
