Answer:

D. S-shape.

Explanation:

A meandering stream is produced when it comes in contact with flat plains with sediments such as fine sand, and mud. As it flows through a single channel, it curves like a snake giving it an S-shape. When the river velocity increases, the outside meanders become eroded. Likewise, when the river velocity is decreased, sediments are deposited on the outside meander.

What will happen to a blood cell that is placed in a solution with a greater concentration of solutes?
larisa [96]
Eventually the increase in water may cause the blood cells to burst (cytolysis.) In a hypertonic solution, the concentration of dissolved solutes is greater than that of the cell. ... If the salt solution outside is 20% salt, then the water concentration is 80%. The red blood cells will shrink in size due to osmotic-like pressure differences until it reaches a "favorable" size.

In basic solution, se2− and so32− ions react spontaneously and e o cell = 0.35 v. (a) write the balanced half-reactions for this
Annette [7]

(a) Write balanced half-reactions for the process:

Oxidation: Se^2- (aq) → Se (s) + 2e-

Reduction: 2So3^2- (aq) + 3H2O (l) + 4e- → S2O3^2- + 6OH- (aq)

(b) If E sulfite is 0.57 V, calculate E selenium:

E anode = E cathode – E cell

= -0.57 – 0.35

= -.092
