This is the hypothesis stage of the scientific method. Let's look at the different stages to find this answer.

Problem- Something you do not know and would like to find out
Research- Information you gather to help you come to a prediction
HYPOTHESIS- A prediction about what the experiment will show
Experiment- Testing the variables to see the outcome
Organization- Putting your data from the experiment into a table or graph so that it is easy to understand
Summary- Generally a few sentences, an overall summary of what happened in the experiment including the "befores," "durings," and "afters."
Distribution- Making your information public so that other scientists can use it for research.
