groundwater discharge: the moving from the subsurface to the surface.

streamflow: water flowing into a stream or a river

water storage: the fresh water of earth that is kept in ice caps, glaciers, and snow.

desublimation: the change from gas straight to a solid.

plant uptake: when water that has nutrients in it gets inside the roots and climbs up to the plant tissue.
