Were there angles given? you just didn't quite give enough information to do this quickly. But I'll try, so a^2 plus b^2 is 400, and a+b is over 20, so we know that much. Therefore we find two numbers that equal 400 when squared and added and are more than 20. And since it's isosceles the other two sides must equal, the number you end up getting is 14.14213561 for the two sides. Then to find area you are gonna square that since it's base times height and get 200 then divide that by two, which is 100 units^2.

Answer:

Area of triangle : 100 unit².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Isosceles right triangle with a hypotenuse of 20 units.

To find :  What is the area.

Solution : We have given an

Isosceles right triangle with a hypotenuse =  20 units.

Isosceles right triangle : A triangle which has 2 sides equal with one angle is 90 degree.

Let two perpendicular equal sides = a , a

By the Pythagorean theorem :

(hypotenuses)² = (side1) ²+ (side2)².

Plug the values

(20)² = (a) ²+ (a)².

400 = 2a².

On dividing both sides by 2

200 = a².

Taking square root both sides

a = 10\sqrt{2}.

Area of triangle :  \frac{1}{2}base* height.

Area of triangle : \frac{1}{2}* 10\sqrt{2} *10\sqrt{2}.

Area of triangle : \frac{1}{2}* 200.

Area of triangle : 100 unit².

Therefore, Area of triangle : 100 unit².

gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

C = 5Q

Step-by-step explanation:

C = Length of Cloth in Meters (C)

Q = Number of Quilts Made (Q)

C = 5Q

Change C for the numbers under (Length of Cloth in Meters (C))
Nad change Q for the numbers under (Number of Quilts Made (Q))

So the new equations would be:

0 = 5(0) --------->  0 = 0

5 = 5(1) ---------> 5 = 5

10 = 5(2) ---------> 10 = 10

15 = 5(3) ---------> 15 = 15

20 = 5(4) ---------> 20 = 20

25 = 5(5) ---------> 25 = 25

So the only option that amkes sense is (C = 5Q)
