Firstly, you must divide the subject total by 100. This will give you 1% of your subject. For example, if you are working out 10% of 4,500, divide 4,500 by 100 and you will have worked out 1% of 4,500---in this case, 45. Multiply your 1% answer by the percentage you wish to find out.

Question 4
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

C = 23.5 in

Step-by-step explanation:

θ = 43°

The length of the side opposite to θ = 16 in.

Hypotenuse = DK

Apply trigonometric ratio, thus:

sin(θ) = opp/hyp

Plug in the values

sin 43 = 16/DK

Multiply both sides by DK

DK*sin 43 = 16

Divide both sides by sin 43

DK = 16/sin 43

DK = 23.5 (nearest tenth of an inch)

How do I find the perimeter of a triangle with sides 3ft 8in., 2ft 10in., and 4 ft?
Dmitriy789 [7]
Formula for triangle perimeter is: a + b + c. In this scenario we have:

a = 3 feet 8 inches
b = 2 feet 10 inches
c = 4 feet

a + b + c =
= 3 ft + 8 in + 2 ft + 10 in + 4 ft =
= 9 ft + 18 in

We know that 1 foot is 12 inches, so we can simplify the result to this form:

10 ft + 6 in

or:

10.5 feet
