HIV or AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease that will eventually lead to the damage of the internal organs and other physical problems such as paralysis, numbness, and gradual blindness. HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus is a type of disease that affects the Immune System of the body. As the virus continues to spread, the immune system progressively fails allowing other life-threatening diseases to penetrate the body. A person who does not undergo any form of medication has an estimated 9 to 11 years of survival. It can be contracted in many forms either through semen and saliva transfer.
