Answer: (A) shows two triangles that are congruent by AAS.

Explanation:-

AAS (Angle-Angle-Side) postulate states that if two angles and the non-included side one triangle are equal to the two angles and the non-included side of the another triangle, then the two triangles are said to be congruent.

In figure A we have two angles and the non-included side one triangle are equal to the two angles and the non-included side of the next triangle attached to it ,thus by AAS postulate they are congruent.

Rest of the other figures do not have two angles equal in both the triangles.

Thus only A shows two triangles that are congruent by AAS.

What is the measure of angle A?
I am Lyosha [343]

First you have to find the angle B (check attachment)

B = 180^{\circ} - 137^{\circ} = 43^{\circ}\\

Then you can find the last angle inside the triangle, which I'll call C

C = 180^{\circ} - 102^{\circ} - 43^{\circ} = 35^{\circ}

Now you can find angle A

A = 180^{\circ} - C = 180^{\circ} - 35^{\circ} = 145^{\circ}

((PLEASE HELP ASAP!! D:)) Natasha bought a tennis racket that was marked down in price, p, by 20%. Write an expression with TWO
kumpel [21]

Answer: p - 0.2p

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following :

Original Price of tennis racket = p

Mark down or discount on original price = 20% of original price = (20/100) × p = 0.2p

Amount after discount = Amount paid by Natasha

Amount after discount = Original price - Discount

Amount after discount = p - 0.2p

Amount paid by Natasha = p - 0.2p

If f(x) =3x-5 them find values of f(3) and f(-7). please explain step by step
LenKa [72]

Answer:

f(3) = 4

f(-7) = -26

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

f(x) =3x-5

To find f(3), replace every x with 3:

f(3) =3(3)-5\\f(3) =9-5\\f(3) =4

Therefore, f(3)=4.

f(x) =3x-5

To find f(-7), replace every x with -7:

f(-7) =3(-7)-5\\f(-7) =-21-5\\f(-7) =-26

Therefore, f(-7)=-26.

I hope this helps!

CALCULUS EXPERT WANTED
Vlad [161]

a. Use the mean value theorem. 16 falls between 12 and 20, so

v'(16)\approx\dfrac{v(20)-v(12)}{20-12}=\dfrac{240-200}8=5

(Don't forget your units - 5 m/min^2)

b. v(t) gives the Johanna's velocity at time t. The magnitude of her velocity, or speed, is |v(t)|. Integrating this would tell us the total distance she has traveled whilst jogging.

The Riemann sum approximates the integral as

\displaystyle\int_0^{40}|v(t)|\,\mathrm dt=12\cdot200+8\cdot240+4\cdot220+16\cdot150=7600

If you're not sure how this is derived: we're given 5 sample points, so we can cut the interval [0, 40] into 4 subintervals. The lengths of each subinterval are 12, 8, 4, and 16 (the distances between each sample point), and the height of the rectangle approximating the area under the plot of |v(t)| is determined by the value of v(t) at each sample point, 200, 240, |-220| = 220, and 150.

c. Bob's velocity is given by B(t), so his acceleration is given by B'(t). We have

B'(t)=3t^2-12t

and at t=5 his acceleration is B'(5)=15 m/min^2.

d. Bob's average velocity over [0, 10] is given by the difference quotient,

\dfrac{B(10)-B(0)}{10-0}=\dfrac{700-300}{10}=40 m/min
