The main reason behind the colonists assembling for the first continental congress was to show their grievances towards the British government. The British government had very recently passed the Intolerable Acts and these Acts were vehemently protested by the colonists. The first Continental congress was held in the year 1774 between 5th September and October 26th. it was attended by the delegates of 12 colonies among the 13 colonies present during that time. This Continental Congress took place at Carpenter's Hill of Philadelphia. There were a total of 55 delegates present in this first Continental Congress.

Answer:

actor-observer discrepancy

Explanation:

Actor-observer discrepancy: In social psychology, the term actor-observer discrepancy or bias is defined as an individual's propensity to attribute his or her actions to some external causes whereas he or she attributes the other person's behavior or actions to some internal causes.

It is considered as a form of attributional bias that leads to develop the way an individual interacts or perceive the other person. It generally covers others and one's behavioral attributions.

In the question above, the given statement is referred to as actor-observer discrepancy.

Can people ever be separated but equal?
yawa3891 [41]
No, there can be no equality if there is separation. Take for example segregation, where African Americans were separated from whites in public facilities like schools and restaurants. The two groups of people did not receive equal treatment, and therefore there was no true equality.
