Diagonal of will's square field is D_1=40 \ yards.

Diagonal of James's rectangular field :

D_2=\sqrt{35^2+25^2}\\\\D_2=\sqrt{1850}\ yards\\\\D_2=43.01\ yards

James runs 3.01 yards more distance than will.

Therefore, James run a longer distance.

Hence, this is the required solution.

How do I figure this anser-6w < 84
Sophie [7]

Answer:

w > -14

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide both sides by -6.

-6w/-6 = w

84/-6 = 14

Since it's an equality, if the coefficient of the variable is negative, when you divide the sign flips to the opposite.

The equation of the line with a slope of 6 and y-intercept of -1 is:
Andrew [12]

Answer:

\bold{y=6x-1}

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

Since we are given the slope and the y-intercept of the line, we can very easily identify the equation of the line.

Slope-intercept:

y=mx+b

Plug in the values:

\bold{y=6x-1}

Thus, \bold{y=6x-1} is the equation of the line.

Hope it helps! Enjoy your day!
