So you need to get to 29 lawns right? So 29 is a prime number and doesn't have three as a common factor. So you have to get down to the very last bit on how often he mows lawns in the seven months. 7/3 does that, it's not precise but it's a great estimation.

2.333=7/3

So every 2.33... months he mows a lawn. So what's 3's closest factor to 29? 27. So now do 7*9 as in the months and stuff. You get 27, already 27 months off the bat. Now then do 2.33...*2=4.66 months extra.

Here it is, just in case you don't want to read this all.

7/3=2.33...

7*9=27

29-27=2          2*2.33...=4.66+27

31.66 more months

Each of 10 bins contain 1 piece of fruit. Two bins are oranges, 3 are apples, 4 are peaches, and 1 is a melon. What is the proba
trasher [3.6K]
<h3>The probability of not choosing 2 peaches is (\frac{13}{15} ).</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the total number of bins  = 10

Total orange bins  = 2

Total apples bins  = 3

Total peaches bins  = 4

Total melon bins  = 1

Let E : Event of picking two peaches

So, P(Picking 1 peach )  = \frac{\textrm{Total peaches in bins}}{\textrm{Total bins}}   = \frac{4}{10}

and P (Picking 2nd  peach )  = \frac{\textrm{Total peaches in bins}}{\textrm{Total bins}}   = \frac{3}{9}

\implies P(E) = \frac{4}{10}  \times\frac{3} {9}  = \frac{2}{15}

So, the probability of not picking 2 peaches  = 1 - P(picking  2 peaches)

= 1 - (\frac{2}{15} ) = \frac{13}{15}

Hence, the probability of not choosing 2 peaches is (\frac{13}{15} ).

Step-by-step explanation:

1.) 30-18= 12 which is the number of member that had an average of 84

2.)Then multiply  12 times 84 = 1008

3.) You multiply 18 by 92 which equals 1656

4.)Add 1008 and 1656 together  and get 2664.

5.)Divide 2664 / 30 and you get the average of 88.8

Hope this helps :)
