0.035 x 12 = 0.48
So, 10 cards for 35 cents is not the better deal.

(2) p / q = 9 / 2
divide 1 by 2 to eliminate p:
q^2 = 1575 / (9/2)
q^2 = 350
q = sqrt(350)
Substitue q in either 1 or 2 to find p.
