Callie bought 2 gallons of juice for $2.58 per gallon. She sold the juice in 1-cup servings for $0.75 each. Each serving is 1/16
frez [133]
Hi,

  Callie paid $5.16 in all for the gallons of juice. If she sold the juice .75 for 1/16 gallon each she made $12.00 in all. So Callie made $7.84 more than what she paid for the juice. I got my answer by multiplying 75 by 16 and I got $12.00 and from there I just subtracted $5.16 away from $12.00.

I hope I helped have a great day/night!!!

The discriminant can be determined from the number of roots of the graph.

If Disc> 0, the function has two distinct roots
If Disc = 0, the function has a repeated root
If Disc < 0, the function has no real root.

Since, the given function has two distinct roots i.e. it cross x-axes at two different points, its discriminant will be positive.

So, the answer to this question is option C<span />

What is the volume of a sphere that has a radius of 18ft
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

24432.193

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of sphere = 4/3 pi x cube of radius

Radius =18ft , pi = 3.142

Volume = 4/3 x 3.142 x 18 x 18 x 18

Volume = 1.3333 x 3.142 x  5832

Volume = 24432.19ft3

Volume =24432ft3 to the nearest whole number

If the mass of your father is 70kg, what is his weight (N)?
Airida [17]

Answer: 686 N

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi!

Second Newton's law is: F=m*a, where F is force, m is mass, and a acceleration

On the Earth's surface, weight is the gravity force W=m*g, where g=9.8 m/s² is the acceleretion of gravity on Earth. So the weight of someone with mass m=70 kg is W=70*9.8 kg*m/s² = 686 N.

The unit N (Newton) is defined as 1 N = 1 kg*m/s²
