To divide 7233 by 5:
1. Put 7233 inside a den and five outside.
2. Figure out how many times 5 can go into 7.
3. Write this above the 7.
4. Multiply 5 by the number atop the 7
5. Subtract the product below the 7.
6. Drop the 2 (from 7233) down next to the difference that you previously calculated. This will give you a two digit number.
5. Repeat the previous steps until you run out of numbers.
6. Once this happens, if you are using remainders;
     Your remainder will be your final difference.
If you are using decimals;
     Place a decimal behind the 3 and then a zero. Continue the previous steps until an even number comes out.
And if you are using fractions;
     Place your final difference atop the 5 as a fraction.
7. Write down your answer and be proud!! :3
Sorry for the long description, but I wanted to help you the best I could. :)

The answer is 1,486.6 if my calculations are correct. Anyways if you divide and your answer has a remainder just add a decimal before the remainder and add a decimal at the end of 3 and after you add a 0 in front of your decimal that is by 3 Hope this helps :)

GaryK [48]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(7,6)    (-3,-1)

(x1,y1)  (x2,y2)

Distance=\sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^{2}+(y_{2}-y_{1})^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{(-3-7)^{2}+(-1-6)^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{(-10)^{2}+(-7)^{2}}\\\\=\sqrt{100+49}=\sqrt{149}\\\\=12.21
