Answer: The work done by the toaster is 270,000 J

Explanation:

Power is defined as the ratio of rate of work done by an object with respect to time.

Mathematically,

P=\frac{W}{t}

where,

P = power of the toaster = 1500 W

W = work done by the toaster = ?

t = time taken = 3 mins = 180 sec   (Conversion factor:  1 min = 60 sec)

Putting values in above equation, we get:

1500W=\frac{W}{180s}\\\\W=(1500W\times 180s)=270,000J

Hence, the work done by the toaster is 270,000 J

What are the number under static electricity
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

Static electricity is the result of an imbalance between negative and positive charges in an object. These charges can build up on the surface of an object until they find a way to be released or discharged. One way to discharge them is through a circuit.

Knowing that the speed of light in the vitreous humor is 2.1 × 108 m/s, what is the index of refraction of the vitreous humor? (
shusha [124]

Answer:

   n = 1,429

Explanation:

In this exercise you are asked to calculate the refractive index, it is a constant that depends on the wavelength and relates the behavior of light when passing through two different material media.

The refractive index of a material is given by

         n = c / v

where n is the refractive index, c the speed of light and v the speed in the material medium

let's calculate

         n = 3.0 108 / 2.1 108

         n = 1,429

Which kind of energy is greater? Potential or kinetic energy?
Nataly_w [17]

Answer: it depends potential energy is the build up of kinetic energy like going to the top of a roller coaster. kintic is the use of the potential energy like going down the roller coaster so depends how much energy one another give :)

Hope this helps you out :)
