Briefly describe signal detection theory, and explain what influences our detection of stimuli.
zheka24 [161]
Signal detection theory is a theory that predicts how and when one detects the presence of weak stimuli admits background noise. The detection of stimuli involves decision and sensory processes. Factors that influence this detection include the intensity of the stimuli, physical factors such as fatigue and healthiness, and psychological factors such as motivation and expectations.

Hope this helps! (:

What is the measured value always positive from one point to another
LekaFEV [45]
It is called "distance". In fact, distance measures how far apart two points are from each other, and it is always a positive number.
In mathematics, for instance, the distance between two points of coordinates (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) on a xy-plane is defined as
d= \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2 + (y_1-y_2)^2}
and by definition, this number is always positive.

A crude approximation is that the Earth travels in a circular orbit about the Sun at constant speed, at a distance of 150,000,00
Savatey [412]

Answer:

The answer is "Option B".

Explanation:

r=15\times 10^{7}\ km\ = 15\times 10^{10}\ m\\\\w=\frac{2\pi}{1\ year}\\\\=\frac{2\pi}{1\times 365.24 \times 24 \times 60 \times 60\ sec}\\\\a=w^2r\\\\=(\frac{2\pi}{1\times 365.24 \times 24 \times 60 \times 60\ sec})^2 \times 15 \times 10^{10}\ \frac{m}{s^2}\\\\

=5.940 \times 10^{-3} \ \frac{m}{s^2}\\\\=6 \times 10^{-3} \ \frac{m}{s^2}\\\\=0.006\ \frac{m}{s^2}\\\\

What is the definition of pe
Reika [66]
The definition of P.E which stands for physical education is instruction that ranges in many areas to improve performance and management in athletic games. The definition of sports is an activity that requires skill and physical exertion of a team or an individual competing against others for fun or entertainment. I believe these are similar because without physical education kids cannot excel in their sports. P.E will help prepare them for this.However they are different because sports are solely focused on one topic and try to perfect that, physical education gives you many different things to work on.
