Use substitution.

y = 2 - x and y = 4x + 7 can become

2 - x = 4x + 7

Now solve for x

-5 = 5x

-1 = x

Now plug -1 for x in either equation.

y = 2 - x -> y = 2 - (-1) -> y = 3
y = 4x + 7 -> y = 4*-1 + 7 -> y = -4 + 7 -> y = 3

So C) is the correct answer.

What is the absolute value of 4 by 3?.
FromTheMoon [43]

The absolute value of 4 by 3 would be 3.33

What is the absolute value?

The absolute value or modulus of a real number x denoted |x| in mathematics, is the non-negative value of x regardless of its sign.

We have to find the absolute value of 4/3.

So |4/3| = |3.33|

             = 3.33

Hence, the absolute value of 4 by 3 would be 3.33
