Answer:

Jenny's room

Step-by-step explanation:

The area formula is:

area=length*width

Jenny:

a=l*w

a=13*12

a=156 feet^2

Ruth:

a=l*w

a=14*11

a=154 feet^2

So, Jenny's room has the greater area, because 156 is greater than 154

Hope this helps!

Well, to get perimeter, you add the length and width, and then multiply your answer by two. So:

Jerry-

13+12=25

25*2=50

Ruth-

14+11=25

25*2=50

So both rooms are equal.

Hope this helps!!

−2∣5w−7∣+9=−7
What is the 2 answers for this question
loris [4]
The two possible answers are w = 3 and w = -1/5

These answers can be obtained through solving to the absolute value symbols.

−2∣5w−7∣+9=−7 ---> subtract 9 from both sides
−2∣5w−7∣= -16 ---> divide both sides by -2
∣5w−7∣= 8

Now, because of the absolute value symbols, set the inside equal to 8 and -8 for the two answers.

5w - 7 = 8
5w = 15
w = 3

AND

5w - 7 = -8
5w = -1
w = -1/5

now, if that value is less than 100, then the fellow is "undernourished", otherwise, is overfed.
