287.39 grams of Al2(SO4)3 is formed if 250g H2SO4 completely reacted with aluminum.

Explanation:

Balanced chemical equation:

2Al + 3H2SO4->Al2(SO4)3+H2

Data given:

atomic mass of Al2(SO4)3 = 342.14 gram/mole

mass of H2SO4 given = 250 gram

atomic mass of one mole of H2SO4 = 98.079 grams/mole

number of moles = \frac{mass}{atomic mass of one mole}

number of moles = \frac{250}{98.079}

number of moles = 2.54 moles

from the equation it can be seen as

3 moles of H2SO4 will react to give 1 mole Al2(SO4)3

2.54 moles of H2SO4 will react to give x moles of Al2(SO4)3.

\frac{1}{3}= \frac{x}{2.54}

x = 0.84 moles of Al2(SO4)3 is formed.

to calculate mass of the Al2(SO4)3 = Number of moles x atomic weight of one mole

= 0.84  x  342.14

= 287.39 grams of Al2(SO4)3 is formed.

What is the PH of a solution whose [H+] is 0.0007
cupoosta [38]
To determine the pH of the solution. All you would have to do is use the equation:

pH = -log(H3O^+)
pH = - log(0.0007)
pH = 3.15.

Note that H+ and H3O+ are the same, it is more accurate to say H3O+ because of how the H2O molecules become after receiving the additional proton.

use the heisenberg uncertainty principle to calculate the uncertainity in meters in the position of 0.68g and traveling at a vel
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

7.7439×10⁻³¹ m

Explanation:

The expression for Heisenberg uncertainty principle is:

\Delta x\times \Delta v=\frac {h}{4\times \pi\times m}

Where m is the mass of the microscopic particle

h is the Planks constant

Δx is the uncertainty in the position

Δv is the uncertainty in the velocity

Given:

mass = 0.68 g = 0.68×10⁻³ kg

Δv = 0.1 m/s

Δx= ?

Applying the above formula as:

\Delta x\times 0.1=\frac {6.62\times 10^{-34}}{4\times \frac {22}{7}\times 0.68\times 10^{-3}}

<u>Δx = 7.7439×10⁻³¹ m</u>
