Liquids do not have a definite shape, they take on the form of their containers. But the most commonly used units of measurement for liquids, are cups, litters, and gallons. It depends which one you buy at the store, lol!

Solids have a definite shape and volume. To measure the size of a solid you can use a ruler. But to measure its weight you use a scale. and to measure its volume you use the formula, lwh=v
