Group A

Money spent by Person 1 = £500

Money spent by Person 2 = £600

Money spent by Person 3 = £900

Money spent by Person 4 = £450

Sum of money spent by group A = £2,450

Average money spent by group A = \frac{2,450}{4}

⇒ Average money spent by group A = £612.5

Group B

Money spent by Person 1 = £700

Money spent by Person 2 = £500

Money spent by Person 3 = £680

Money spent by Person 4 = £500

Sum of money spent by group B = £2,380

Average money spent by group B = \frac{2,380}{4}

⇒ Average money spent by group B = £595

Hence, Group B had lower average spend.

Answer:

  p is proportional to q, r, t, and inversely proportional to s

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming k is a "constant of proportionality," the value of p is directly proportional to each of the numerator variables: q, r, t. P is inversely proportional to the denominator variable, s.

Is it possible to construct a triangle using segment lengths of 5,8 and 2? Why or why not?
ivanzaharov [21]
No because the sum of any two sides has to be greater than the third side and 5 plus 2 is not greater than 8
