We know that

[<span>cheese pizza, that does Rico have now]
=1-(1/3)-(1/7)
=(21-7-3)/21
=11/21

</span>[pepperoni pizza, that does Rico have now]
=3/7----> multiply by (3/3)------> 9/21

total pizza (pepperoni + cheese) that does Rico have now
=11/21+9/21------> 20/21----> 95.2% of one pizza

the answer is
20/21

Katerina is a botanist studying the production of pears by two types of pear trees. she noticed that Type A trees produced 20 pe
Ronch [10]

Answer:

120 pears

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the  number of pears produced by Type B be x

Number of pears  produced by type A=144

  According to question

Type A produce 20% more pears than B

x+ x ×20%= 144

x+x×\frac{20}{100}= 144

\frac{100x+20x}{100}= 144

\frac{120x}{100}=144

x= 144×\frac{100}{120}

x=120 pears

Hence, Number of pears produced by B= 120 pears

Hence, the correct answer is 120 pears

Alexus [3.1K]

Considering the situation described, the classification of the runners is given as follows:

Dan - Ben - Alex - Curtis.

<h3>What is the classification of the runners?</h3>

The oldest came in second place. Ben is older than Alex, and Curtis is older than Dan, hence either Ben or Curtis finished second.

Alex ran the distance faster than Curtis, and Dan ran faster than Ben and Curtis, hence considering the above observation Ben finished second and the classification is:

Dan - Ben - Alex - Curtis.
