5th term =     a1 + 4d = 34
10th term =   a1 + 9d = 43

subtracting first equation from the second gives:-
  5d = 9 so d = 9/5  or 1.8

first term  a1 =   34 - 4(1.8) =  26.8

Sum of first 20 terms  = (20/2)[2(26.8) + 19*1.8]
                                   = 10* 87.8
                                   = 878

The second doughnut glazing machine can glare 78 dozen doughnuts in
seropon [69]

Answer:

t = 3.46 hours, or 3 hours 28 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

78 dozen donuts in 2 hours immediately reduces to 39 dozen/hour.

Donuts produced as a function of time:   D(t), where t is the number of hours the macine runs.

Set D(t) = 135 dozen = (39 dozen/hr)t.

Solving this equation for t, we get:

t = 135/39 hours, or t = 3.46 hours, or 3 hours 28 minutes

First choose the appropriate inequality symbol and then drag and drop numbers into the
Advocard [28]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

its a dotted line so the inequality is either > or <

line pass thro' (2,-2), (0,0) and (-2,2)

so its eqn is y = -1x + 0

the shade area is under the dotted line

so the ans is

y < -1x + 0

The finances of a group of pet owners were analyzed to determine how much they were spending on their pets each year. Would (3,7
brilliants [131]

A variable solution for the function is not realistic to have 4.5 owners.

In the given graph x-axis represents the number of owners and the y-axis represents the yearly cost of pets, in hundreds.

It is given that the graph passes through the points (1,15), (3,7), and (10,0).

We need to check whether (4.5, 6) is a realistic solution for the function or not. (4.5,6) point represents

<h3>What is a realistic solution?</h3>

1 showing awareness and acceptance of reality. 2 practical or pragmatic rather than ideal or moral. 3 (of a book, film, etc.) depicting or emphasizing what is real and actual rather than abstract or ideal.

Number of owners = 4.5

the yearly cost of pets = 6

It is realistic that owners spend $600 a year on their pet(s).

A number of owners can not be a fraction value. So, it is not realistic to have 4.5 owners.

Therefore, the correct option is D.

Solve the following system using either linear combination or substitution. Round any answers to the hundredths place. Show all
12345 [234]
So if y=-5x-23 then we can plug that value in for y in x-10y=6, so it becomes

x-10(-5x-23)=6

x+50x+230=6

51x=-224

x=-4.39

plug this x value into the equation y=-5x-23

y=-5(-4.39)-23

y=21.95-23

y=-1.05
