4.5(8 - x) + 36 = 102 - 2.5(3x + 24)

36 - 4.5x + 36 = 102 - 7.5x - 60

-4.5x + 72  = 42 - 7.5x
add 7.5x to each side  and subtract 72 from each side

3x  = 42 - 72

3x = -30

4.5 * (8-) + 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
4.5 * 8 - 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
36 - 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
36 - 36 = 102 - 67.5
36 - 36 = 34.5
Since we know 36 - 36 doesn't equal 34.5 its not true so there is NO ANSWER.
