So the equation will be

\frac{L}{P} = \frac{2}{5}

5\times L=2\times P

P=\frac{5\times L}{2}.................equation 1

Then Lela completes a quest and scores 12 bonus points. The new ratio becomes 7:10

\frac{L+12}{P} =\frac{7}{10}

Cross multiplying

10(L+12)=7P

Plugging value of P from equation 1

10(L+12)= 7\times\frac{5L}{2}

20L+240=35L

15L=240

L=16
