Answer:

\frac{14}{18}, \frac{7}{9}, \frac{28}{36}

Step-by-step explanation:

A ratio is a quantified relation between two magnitudes. In other words, it's a quotient between two numbers.

So, in this case, the problem is asking to represents the situation as ratios.

<em>A zoo has 14 monkeys and 18 chimpanzee. </em>A ratio that represents this would be

\frac{14}{18}

Another two ratios could be found by multiplyig or dividing a factor to each par of the initial ratio

\frac{7}{9}, \frac{28}{36}

Therefore, three ways to compare the given magnitudes are

\frac{14}{18}, \frac{7}{9}, \frac{28}{36}

You pick one card from a standard deck of 52 cards. What is the probability that the card will be a two?
Natali [406]

Answer:

4 out of 52 or simplified 2 out of 26

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 4 suites of cards, spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds and there is one card for two in each suite, so we therefore know that the probability of picking a two out of a 52 card deck will be four out of 52 or the simplified answer would be 2 out of 26. Hope this helps, have a great day!

(fg)-1(5)=g-1f-1(5)
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

<em>f = g/ g+1</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Remove Parenthesis.

<em>fg - 1  x 5  = g  - 1  x f  - 1 x 5</em>

Cancel <em>-1 x 5</em> on both sides.

<em>fg =  g - 1  x f</em>

Simplify <em>1 x f</em>  to f.

<em>fg =  g - f</em>

Add <em>f </em>to both sides.

<em>fg + f = g</em>

Factor out the common term <em>f.</em>

<em>f (g + 1)  = g</em>

Divide both sides by <em>g + 1</em>

<em>f =  g/ g + 1</em>

Is the equation true, false, or open? 5x+2=6x+11
ICE Princess25 [194]
I think your suppose to combine like terms to find your answer.... Like for example 5x+2=6x+11
what I did first was combine my x's which is 5x+6x is 11x
then I added 2+11 and that gave me 13 so I put it together and got 11x+13
