8.5 can be made into 8 and 5/10 which then can be simplified to 8 and 1/2. Then multiplying 8 by 2 and adding 1 will give you 17/2

Two sides of a triangle are 11 can and 14 cm what are all the possible values for the length of the third side
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The third side is thus, less than 14 + 11 = 25 cm. The side cannot be less than the difference of the two sides. Thus, the third side has to be more than 14 - 11 = 3 cm. So, the length of the third side could be any length greater than 3 cm and less than 25 cm.

a car starting from test accelerates at a rate of 2m/sec^2. find the average speed in the first ten seconds
SVEN [57.7K]

Average speed in first ten seconds in 10 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

We have equation of motion s = ut + 0.5 at²

        Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s

        Acceleration, a = 2 m/s²

        Time, t = 10 s

     Substituting

                      s = ut + 0.5 at²

                      s = 0 x 10 + 0.5 x 2 x 10²

                      s = 100 m

      Distance traveled is 100 m

      Time taken is 10 seconds

We have

      Distance = Time x Average speed

      100 = 10 x Average speed

      Average speed = 10 m/s

Average speed in first ten seconds in 10 m/s
