If I am reading this question correctly, then the answer is "no, every collision between reacting particles lead to a product".  You have to address the energy component of the particles.  If there isn't enough energy to allow the reaction to occur, then the particles will elastically bounce off one another and no reaction will occur.  If there is enough energy, then the reaction will occur.

Answer:

Explanation:

Firstly let’s list the names of the atoms

1. Sodium

2. Magnesium

3. Aluminum

4. Oxygen

5.Chlorine

Generally, anions have greater electron affinity than cations. Hence, they have more positive values for this electron affinity. This means that the higher the electron affinity, the greater its positive value

Electron affinity increases across a period. Thus, it is expected that chlorine has the highest value

If you measured the temperature of the ocean at increasing depths, will the temperature of the water increase or decrease with d
Viefleur [7K]
In the ocean, solar energy is rapidly absorbed or reflected in the upper surface, leaving little energy to penetrate deeper, and so deeper water is not heated (this also explains the lack of light deep in the ocean). Additionally, warm water is less dense than cold water, and so cold water will sink while warm water floats above it.

Thus, temperature of the ocean also varies from top to bottom, giving a vertical structure to most of the ocean. This vertical structure has a large impact on how life is distributed in the ocean.
