Dietary fats are also known as fatty acids. They can be found in foods from both plants and animals. There are four types of fats: saturated fat and trans fats, noted as bad fats and found in  high-fat meats and dairy products and monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated, which are the "good" fats (nuts, vegetable oil, avocado..)
