The first step I would use is to use a magnet to remove the iron filings. This is because only metal is attracted to magnets. I would then use a sieve to filter the sand and salt from the gravel. This is because the gravel will have a larger diameter than the sand and salt particles, and will stay behind while the salt and sand will pass through the sieve. Finally, I would remove the salt from the sand by placing the mixture in water. The sand will tend to sink to the bottom while the salt will dissolve into solution.

In humans, what muscle is homologous to the serratus ventralis found in cats
Nat2105 [25]
The Serratus anterior in man is homologous to the Serratus ventralis  muscle in the cat. The Serratus anterior is a muscle that originates on the surface of the 1st to 8th ribs at the side of the chest and insects along the entire anterior length of the medial border of the scapula. The Serratus anterior acts to pull the scapula forward around the thorax. Serratus ventralis in the cats looks like fingers because it attaches to the ribs, but has nothing to attach to between the ribs.

What organelle wouldn’t have a job if the smooth and rough ER didn’t work?
ruslelena [56]

Answer: The Golgi apparatus.

Explanation: I believe it is the Golgi apparatus as the Rough ER and Smooth ER create proteins and sort them in to piles before sending to the Golgi apparatus to deliver.

The Smooth ER and Rough ER are like the suppliers while the Golgi apparatus is like the transporter.

Remember: Proteins have many functions and are needed severely to perform those actions that without the Golgi apparatus, those proteins wouldn’t be able to be transported.

g Electron flow down the electron-transport chain leads to the transport of proteins: Group of answer choices from the matrix to
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer:

from the intermembrane space to the matrix

Explanation:

In the electron transport chain (ETC), electrons flow from one protein complex to another. However, as this electrons are transfered, protons (H+) is built up from the intermembrane space of the mitochondria to the mitochondrial matrix.

Hence, according to this question, a proton gradient is formed when hydrogen ions (H+) are moving from the intermembrane space to the matrix of the mitochondrial.
