Answer:  Increases

Explanation:  As we know from the kinetic theory of gases that the kinetic energy is directly proportional to the temperature and temperature is directly proportional to the velocity of the molecule.

Thus when the heat is added in the system, temperature gets increases which in turn will increase the velocity of the molecule and these molecules will collide even faster .

Thus kinetic energy within the molecule of an object increases when the heat is added to the system.

Which of the following is a physical change?
vodka [1.7K]
Hello,
A physical change describes a change that does physically and does not display “chemical” signs which are signs that indicate a precipitate being formed, change in color, density, or producing gas, etc. “Tearing a piece of paper in half” is a physical change because like I said earlier it doesn’t show any chemical change signs. I hope this helps you out!

A molecule of carbon dioxide (CO2) contains two polar covalent bonds. Why is the molecule nonpolar?
DaniilM [7]
The molecule is non-polar, because the difference in electronegativity between the two sides of the structure equals 0. The electronegativity difference between O (3.5) and C(2.5) is 1 and also on the other side, cancelling each other.
