Test the value (x,y) of each point in the equation-y^2 + x <= -4   BY 
1) because the equation has = so every point in the equation  -y^2 + x = -4 is applied  .... this case is B ... satisfy  2) A, E is in the same area choose one to test test A(-4,2) :   -(2)^2 + (-4) <= -4  which is true the A and E is satisfy the inequality   3) no need to test fo C, D, F on the different area they are not satisfy.  but you can guess it will satisfy -y^2 + x > -4

Subtract 7x-9 from 2x^2-11<br> A) 2x^2-7x-2<br> B) 2x^2+7x-20<br> C) 2x^2+7x-2

We keep the 2x^2 because we can only subtract something from that if it also is squared. From there, we subtract the 7x from 2x^2-11. Since there is no previous x's in the 2x^2-11, we just make it -7x. So, without even continuing the problem, we see that A) is the correct answer because it is the only one with -7x.
