The type of memory process that Roberto is in is the encoding memory, it is the initial stage of memory processing in which a person is in the stage of acquiring or learning information that are new to them. It could be either be short or long term memory when recalling. It could be seen above as Roberto just moved in with a new address in which it could already be classified as the encoding memory because it is the initial step of learning information and the reason that he has troubling of remembering it because encoding memory could either be short term or long term which we could classify that he has a short term in recalling it.
