For the third question, the opposite of 82 is -82 not 82. For everything else, it looks fine. Great job! :)

If 2a = 3 + 2b, prove that 8a3 – 8b3 – 36ab = 27.
irga5000 [103]

b = -0.5 and a = 1. 2=3+-1. 1 to the third power is just 1, times 8 is 8. -0.5 to the third power is -0.125. -0.125 times 8 is -1. 8 - (-1) is 9. 36 times 1 is 36, times -0.5 is -18. 9-(-18) = 27. I hope this helps! Could I possibly get brainliest?

What is the slope of a line perpendicular to the line who’s equation is x-y=5 fully reduce your answer
Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

-1

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the slope intercept formula(y=mx+b) to find the slope of a line.

First, you will want to put everything into it's proper order, so you will get -y=-x+5.

You cannot have a negative y, so divide everything by -1 and you will get y=x-5.

1 is the slope. Now that you know that, you will want to find the reciprocal. To find the reciprocal, you will need to swap the numerator and the denominator and then swap it's sign, whether that is positive or negative..

The reciprocal of 1 is -1. -1 is the slope of the perpendicular line

The article "Sensory and Mechanical Assessment of the Quality of Frankfurters" reported the following salt content (percentage b
sergeinik [125]

Answer:

μ = 1.877

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Number of data samples, n = 10

Data: 2.18, 2.03, 1.56, 1.09, 1.56 ,2.28 ,1.62 ,2.02 ,2.11 ,2.32

Now,

Mean is calculated using the formula as:

Mean, μ = \frac{\textup{Sum of all the observations}}{\textup{Total number of observations}}

or

Mean, μ = \frac{\textup{2.18 + 2.03 + 1.56 + 1.09 + 1.56 + 2.28 + 1.62 + 2.02 + 2.11 + 2.32 }}{\textup{10}}

or

Mean , μ = \frac{18.77}{10}

or

Mean , μ = 1.877
