I had to do a little background research because there was not picture DX. but thats ok next time just have a pic:) your answer to this should be dicot. I say this because i know that Malva assurgentiflora is a dicot angiosperm. It's also endangered shrub native to California. Hope that was some help, contact me if you need any more help:)
