The body mass index (BMI) is measure that determines whether an individual is in a healthy weight range. It is calculated as:

BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (m)2

People with BMI under  18.5 kg/m2  are considered underweight.

Normal weight is BMI 18.5 – 25 kg/m2

Overweight: BMI 25 – 30 kg/m2

Obese: BMI > 30 kg/m2

What causes our blood to turn red? and if its still blue by the time we bleed is that ok?
Elan Coil [88]

Blood turns red when we start bleeding because the chemical composition of our blood changes when it reaches the air. This is known as oxidation, and no, it is probably not okay if your blood doesn't turn red once it reaches the outside of your body.

masya89 [10]

Answer: A) The endometrial lining is shed in menstrual cycles but reabsorbed in estrous cycles.

Explanation:

The endometrium can be defined as the inner layer of the epithelium. It along with the mucous membrane forms the covering of the mammalian uterus. It is the basal and functional layer of the uterus. This layer thickens and then shed during the menstruation cycle in humans and in some other mammals including the apes, monkeys, bats and elephants. But the endometrium layer is reabsorbed in the estrous cycle.
