Answer:

DNA is a double-stranded molecule but only one strand act as the template for RNA polymerase to synthesize mRNA. The template strand is also called non-coding strand and another strand is called the coding strand.

The coding strands are in 5'to 3' direction and the non-coding strand is in 3' to 5' direction. So the template strand is read in 3' to 5' direction by RNA polymerase and mRNA is formed in 5' to 3' direction.

The sequence of nucleotide on mRNA are called codons and three codon are responsible for coding one amino acid.

Aleks [24]
The endoplasmic reticulum is the term which describes an extensive network of tubes, sacs, and vesicles throughout a cell that provides transport as its main function. The endoplasmic reticulum is a small organelle and is found in most Eukaryotic cells. It is not found in red blood cells. The endoplasmic reticulum is a network in the core of the cell and occurs within the nuclear membrane and is involved in the synthesis of lipids and proteins. The endoplasmic reticulum also usually has ribosomes attached to it.

Purple flowers are dominant to white flowers. A heterozygous purple flower is crossed with a white flower. What are the probabil
Zanzabum

Answer:

50% probability of Pp (purple) or pp (white) genotype.

Explanation:

P = purple gene

p = white gene

Punnet squares show the possible genotypes and probabilities of each genotype in the offspring of a cross:

Purple flower genotype (heterozygous) = Pp

White flower genotype = pp

Punnet Square:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}&P&p\\p&Pp&pp\\p&Pp&pp\end{array}\right]

Potential genotypes for offspring are Pp and pp;

According to the Punnett square, 2 of 4 offspring will have the Pp genotype and the other 2 will have pp genotypes;

This means 2 should be purple and 2 white;

Or, there is a 50% chance of having either genotype, of being purple or white.

Vikentia [17]

Answer:

Humans and marine organisms use sound finding depth of the ocean and objects.

Explanation:

Humans and marine organisms use sound for some underwater tasks such as finding depth of the ocean and objects. Human use sonar which is a device used to explore the ocean and animals use echolocation to find food and identify objects that comes in their way. Sonar is present in submarine uses sound waves to detect objects that comes in their way so both humans and marine organisms use sounds.
